Established in 1984, Atlantic Computer Services counts itself among the pioneers of contract services to the prepress industry. This progressive company offers repair, reconditioning, preventative maintenance through annual contracts, as well as the sale of prepress equipment, with flexible payment arrangements suited to the individual customer.
Qualified technicians with extensive training and experience are on staff, ready and available to service customers who require assistance. Service and sales calls from call-by-call and contract customers are cheerfully accepted.
Atlantic's headquarters is located in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. This office houses Atlantic's administrative functions as well as its prepress showroom and repair center, dispatch office, and PC repair storefront. Dispatched services are available on a contract and a call-by-call basis to customers from New England to Virginia.
Atlantic's original location in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, now functions as a storage, repair, and maintenance facility for prepress equipment only. Opened in 1999, another location in Scranton, Pennsylvania, will function as a PC repair center for PC-compatible and MAC computers only, with service available for 19" and above monitors. Atlantic is an authorized center for Apple, Compaq, Novell, IBM, Dell, and many other brands of computer equipment. We are network experts and certified.
Atlantic's newest service center, opened in June 1999, encompasses the southeastern part of the United States, and is located in the Tampa, Florida, area. This office was established primarily as a service and parts location for prepress equipment, and specializes in imagesetters, CTP, and wide-format indoor and outdoor printers as well as RIPs. Dispatched services are available on a contract and a call-by-call basis to customers from North Carolina to Florida. In 2006 Atlantic Computer took a big step partnering up with GEI/Calgraph as their "Agfa expert" for service on the Sherpa line that Agfa dispatched to GEI/Calgraph. Also with Agfa dropping their imagesetter service to ATS, we are now authorized to service their imagesetters. Very soon, you may see us on the forefront of Agfa's authorized CTP service.
